What is Therapy?

The practice of meeting with a therapist to address troublesome behaviors, beliefs, feelings, interpersonal problems, and co-occurring disorders is known as therapy, psychotherapy, or counseling. Therapy is the verbal interaction and treatment of mental ailments.

Individual Therapy

Counseling and Individual Therapy: In individual therapy, a qualified and certified professional assists a single person in resolving ongoing personal problems. It is a successful evidence-based treatment for a range of emotional problems and issues with mental health. An individual’s well-being can be impacted by symptoms that can be improved or controlled with individual therapy. 

They receive emotional support, resolve conflicts with people, understand feelings and problems, and try out new solutions to old problems. Goals for therapy may be specific (change in behavior, improved relations with friends or family), or more general (less anxiety, better self-esteem).”
